Extension and new timetable for Carousel bus route 41 (from 27th August)
The 41 bus service to High Wycombe has become a lot more reliable since Carousel took it over in January this year. Now the route is to be extended to Old Amersham and Amersham station.
The new timetable starts on 27 August, 2023. Regular users please note that the bus to Wycombe will now leave at 45 minutes past the hour. (Timetable and route map attached.)
Do try it out. The fare cap has been extended to the end of October so you can travel for £2. And here's another tip which takes the anguish out of bus travel. Take a photo/scan of the QR code at the bus stop which will take you to:
Select your bus stop and it will tell you when the next bus is due. You could even try it out now at home!
We understand the extension is partly due to feedback from Prestwood Village Association so please use the bus so that the service keeps on improving.
