We were so lucky with the weather last Saturday. The rain cleared to a clear, crisp night and the Festival was a great success with many families visiting well into the evening. A very big thank you to Anne Hewett. Without her the event would not have happened. And to Coopers Markets who pulled out the stops with stalls all the way down the High Street. There was a sprinkling of funfair magic with the twirling teacups and a high trampoline and the magnificent stilt walkers were here again, a source of wonder to children and adults alike.
