Great Missenden is a great place to live and work. This picturesque village in the heart of the Chilterns is only 35 miles northwest of London. Earliest settlements date back to the 12th century and the High Street, in particular, reflects its long history with an impressive assortment of architecturally interesting buildings. The community is now well served by local shops, schools, churches and play areas.

The sheep are back in Abbey Park and at this time of the year are probably pregnant. The gates have been repaired and new fences installed. Please keep all dogs on a lead at all times. Please make sure all gates are closed behind you.
Thank you to the 15 or so people who helped take the Christmas trees down in record time! The trees have been taken away by Kingshill Baptist Church for recycling for a donation.

The Christmas trees need to be taken down. Can you join us? Meet: Saturday 3rd January, from 10.00am outside the White Lion. In addition to collecting the trees, the lights need to be removed also.
